What roles does CISA prepare me for?
CISA validates your ability to plan and run information systems audits: IT auditor, IT audit manager, internal audit, and IT risk, compliance, and assurance roles. It is also a common springboard from audit into broader risk and security leadership.
What are the requirements for CISA certification?
ISACA requires five years of professional experience in information systems auditing, control, or security, with substitutions available for up to three of those years for education and related work. You can sit the exam first and apply for certification once you meet the experience requirement.
